Borgo Santo Pietro - a pearl in the hearth of Tuscany

Hello or ciao! This time I decided to tell you more about the place I am working at - Relais Borgo Santo Pietro. Borgo occupies an area of 200 acres in the hearth of Tuscany region in Italy. It is located next to Palazzetto village and is not so far from Siena.

The main villa is an very old beautiful building. In the past it housed four or five farming families that worked the surrounding land. Now it is renovated and acts as a boutique hotel. The walls are hand-painted and all the furniture is restored by hand. The amazing atmosphere behind the doors of the villa is supplemented by unique flower arrangements assembled by the Borgo's florists. In the main villa there are 6 rooms for guests. Except it, in the yard of the estate there are few more buildings with rooms offering exceptional conditions for their guests. In this botique hotel is located the Michelin-starred restaurant Meo Modo by chef Andrea Mattei. Its unique dishes inspired from the nature of the region are able to impress even the people with thе biggest expectations from the food.

Borgo also has its own gardens in which are grown herbs, vegetables and fruits used for the gourmet dishes. In the farm of the hotel are grown various animals increasing the fauna diversity in the estate. It includes more than 300 sheep. Cheese is made from their milk in the artisan cheese diary in Palazzetto owned by Borgo Santo Pietro. The hotel also has a huge wine cellar, offering over one thousand botique labels. There is also an artist's pavilion in which Borgo welcomes talanted artists who organise arts classes for the guests of the villa. There is a new spa offering different ways for relax as well as the opportunity for the guests to try the Borgo's line of cosmetics with natural ingredients. The great experience of the guests is supplemented by an outdoor cinema , in which they can watch old Italian films, amazing waterpool, tree house, offering very delicious typical Italian food, and of course unique breathtaking gardens offering the opportunity for endless walks.
