Crafts

The following week was quite relaxing for me and connected with creativity. Except for the lectures that we have every week, we had a new subject – Introduction to marketing, which I find very useful. In HR Management we discussed the Discrimination of white men in that week's PBL session. For the English classes I had to write an essay for the communication in the office of the future and we learned how to write a summary of a text. In the end of the week, we had a thematic dinner – Black Sea Treasures. I helped with giving ideas and recipes for the dessert. Me and two more girls from my group had to make the decoration in the restaurant zone for the event. I enjoyed it a lot because I love hand making different things, but I hadn't had the opportunity to practice this for quite a lot time. We made hand written menus on which there were drawn boats, paper boats were hanged down on a tree, we filled glasses with sand and shells and transformed them into beautiful centerpieces and we decorated the other areas of the restaurant with sand, dry branches, shells, stones and bottles with a letter inside. The decoration completely changed the atmosphere in the restaurant and I hope that this helped the clients to spend a nice evening enjoying the treasures of the Black sea.
