First time in the kitchen for this semester

Hello to everybody! The second week we started with Hospitality and tourism lectures. I had to watch the film The Intern in order to prepare myself for the Human Resource Management classes in which we started to have PBL sessions. This means Problem Based Learning and we have to discuss a specific case, the problems in it, to make suggestions to solve them and to the learning goals. In terms of our culinary lectures and practical classes, we are divided into two groups and each week we organize thematic events. That week it was my group's turn, so on Thursday, we brainstormed ideas for the menu. On Friday we made the testing for the Steak night, and On Saturday was the dinner itself. My tasks included the preparation of all the elements of the dessert and to help to plate it.The dessert was Milk chocolate mousse, Dark chocolate ganache with mint, Crumbs, Orange coulis and Orange jelly. The preparation of the orange jelly decoration was quite time-consuming. The first idea of making pearls out of it was not quite successful, but I managed to find out another option for it and I make it looks like a honeycomb. The final result was very delicious and good looking dish.
