The concept is based first of all on the farm located in the Borgo complex where vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruits, honey and other things are produced. The daily delivery of products gives the highest quality and best fragrance. For Borgo the quality is more important than the quantity and of course the seasonal production is followed because the good food is impossible without high quality products. What can't be get directly from the farm it is chosen from the nearest to Borgo producers. In terms of service quality and products choice, the breakfast, the trattoria and the gourmet restaurant are exactly the same. The breakfast is designed to meet international customer needs. It offers continental breakfast personalised with the concept "from farm to the plate ". It includes organic cereals, honey and eggs as well as always freshly made cakes and pastries. Some of the dishes like omelettes and pancakes are cooked right in front of the guests. The Treehouse or the "Tuscan trattoria" offers typical Italian food , cooked with simple but best quality ingredients directly coming from the farm. Various types of pasta are cooked such as raviolo, tagliolini and pappardelle. The pizza and the bread are baked in an wood fired oven. In the Treehouse you can also try typical Tuscan desserts and homemade ice cream. In the gourmet restaurant you can try simple but not so common cuisine. It is a combination between Tuscan products, traditional Italian cuisine and innovation methods of cooking and presentation.
