The month of weddings

During August, the hottest summer month and the best time of the year, many weddings took place in Borgo Santo Pietro. All of them were celebrated in the splendid garden in front of restaurant Meo Modo. Beautiful and elegantly arranged tables with incredible flower bouquets, candles and luxurious tableware created an amazing atmosphere for each one of the weddings. All the weddimg cakes that we made were in the modern nowadays vintage style. It is a perfect match with the decoration for the events and also with the design of Borgo. The fresh taste of berries in combination with the elegant and gentle appearance of the cakes, decorated with nu,erous fresh flowers, made this day more special for all the couples.

Except the cakes, we also prepared desserts and small pastries. The most chosen dessert was that one with raspberries. For this type of events we usually make it in a little different way, it includes less of the components of the gourmet version. But this is not an obstacle to be very delicious and appealing to the eye. The small pastries always include two types of petit fours- one with fruit gelly and the other with lemon, pastry cream and dark chocolate. I am happy to participate in the preparation for the weddings and I can just hope that we help for the sweet start of the life of all the couples.
